Norwegian Air Traffic Control Services Company Awards Contract for New Aeronautical Charting System to CGx AERO in SYS.

Castres, France - A consortium led by CGx AERO in SYS, ESRI Advanced business partner and including ENAC (Ecole Nationale de l'Aviation Civile, the French Civil Aviation Academy, www.enac.fr) and Geodata (ESRI distributor in Norway, www.geodata.no) has been awarded an international tender launched by AVINOR AS for its PANDA Charting system: Procedures for Air Navigation, Design and Aeronautical Charting system.

Avinor is a state-owned limited company that is responsible for operating the Norwegian airport network. The company owns and operates 46 airports throughout the country, 12 in cooperation with the Armed Forces. Avinor operations also include air traffic control towers, control centres and technical infrastructure for aircraft navigation.
